The first word that I would think of when thinking about Montenegro is "conflict". This is a place full of conflicts, pauper and well-offness, natural beauty and pollution, desolate land and luxurious resorts... This is a country that awaits to be rebuilt and developed, and I was really happy to see the smile on the faces of the local people- content and hopeful.
Sveti Stefan is just simply gorgeous. This small island is now actually called Aman Sveti Stefan, a luxury resort that is so different from most resorts and hotels of the similar level. Aman never makes you overwhelmed with resplendent furnishing or excessively saccharine hospitality; it gives you real sense of leisure and appropriate care- what a sweet languor!
